First Day of School

It is crazy to think that we have a 9th grader. The time has gone by way too fast. We feel fortunate so far because he has been a pretty good teenager and hope it continues.

Aurora is in 6th grade, her last official year of elementary. And is currently skating one morning each week before school and 3 or 4 days a week after school. She is crazy busy with school work and skating but seems happy most of the time.

Logan is in 1st grade. He wanted to skip 1st and 2nd so he can do harder math. But we told him he needs to work on reading and writing before he can skip grades. He does read well and was in the top of his class last year but we still feel he can improve in this area and we hope to get him to the point where he loves to read and it isn't a chore for him. He seems to be adjusting to the longer school days but he did struggle the first week when it came time for bed because he hadn't had enough free time.
