Spelling Test

So far this year Avery has received a 100% on all of his spelling tests. I think he has become a bit coincided [editor's note: Anne means 'conceited']because if you notice he put a 100 (by the name) on his paper before he even turned it in.

Santa Pictures

I just got these from a lady in our ward who took the Santa pictures this year. Last year Aurora didn't mind Santa but for some reason this year she was terrified of him. She was refusing to sit on his lap so I went and set her there for a minute.

Questions?

Avery has been full of all sorts of question lately. This morning he ask me why some girls have nails in their faces. I looked at him a bit puzzled and then realized he was talking about piercings. Anyhow, we went on to discuss it further. I told him that everyone is different and we should not stare when we someone that looks different.

Writting

I'm currently tending two little girls that are both 3 like Aurora and each day I take some time out and hold a little preschool with the girls. Aurora has been learning how to write her name for a couple of months now and today she wanted to learn how to write her cousin Mya's name, so here it is. I think she did great for her first time.

Choosing the Right

Yesterday after church a lady came up to Joseph and me and told us that today in Avery's class they were talking about choosing the right. She ask how they can choose the right. Avery's reply was that his dad didn't choose the right early this morning but that he would choose the right later. Joseph did the paper route for me so he was coming to church late. Kids are so honest.

Changing Clothes

For whatever reason Aurora never wants to go to bed. Some nights she stays up in her room reading, playing with toys, or changing into different pj's. This morning she woke up in this. When we went up stairs to her room I found a huge mess of clothes. Avery is a tease, he asked me to take his picture and when I did he hide. Silly boy.
