Pinewood Derby

Avery had great fun making his car this year for the Cub Scout Pinewood Derby. He won all 8 races he was in and came in first place overall. Avery's is on the far right in the video.

Girl Scout Cookie Booth

Aurora is inside all those boxes, she stood like that for about an hour.

Panhandling

Last Wednesday Aurora asked me if she could go out and ride her bike. Normally she rides with Avery but he was gone at scouts. So I told her she could ride in the parking lot by our condo so I could keep watch out the kitchen window while making dinner. When I went to check on her she was no where to be found. Since she has a tendency to wander down to friends houses I went to go find her. When I opened the front door she was standing in our front yard with an old soup can that had tips written on it. She was basically panhandling. I immediately sent her to her bed. After a while we called her down and talked with her about how dangerous and wrong it was to do that kinda thing. Now we just need to figure out what to do with the 60 cents she got. Then a couple of days later while selling girl scout cookies at a cookie booth, she told me she was dancing to get the money. I'm thinking she must have gotten this idea from seeing all the panhandlers at our local Smiths.

Park Time

Last Saturday we decided to take advantage of the wonderful spring like weather. Logan loved feeding the ducks and talking to them.
