Logans First Hair Cut

Joseph wanted to give Logan a hair cut the day he was born but I refused. Once Logan had rubbed off most of his hair on the sides of his head I decide it was finally time. So I went and had a friend in our ward give him his first hair cut. His mullet and mo-hawk are finally gone. It's a little sad that he had to have a hair cut so soon but he sure looks a lot better.

New Glasses

This was the only serious picture I could get out of Aurora. She got her new glasses today. So far she is being really good with them. After getting the glasses fitted today we were on our way home and Aurora said, " I look like a grandma".

Christmas Morning

The kids had a great time opening up there presents. This year Avery gets to shop at his school store each Friday after turning in his homework. His teacher encouraged the class to get presents for there family members for Christmas. Avery got each of us something. He gave Joseph a pen , me a cup, and Aurora a kite and pencil. He was excited to go shopping all by himself. The kids have been having a great time playing with all there new toys.

Santa Pictures

We went to the mall today to have the kids pictures taken with Santa. Logan was a little sleepy.

Dress Up

Aurora likes to play dress up. She decided she want to do my hair. Anyhow, here is the picture of the hair style she gave me.

2 Months Old

Logan is now 2 months old. He weighs 13 lbs and is 24 and a half inches long. Here he is enjoying some tummy time. Logan also rolled from his tummy to his back today.

Thanksgiving Day

You may notice that Avery and Aurora both have a black dot on their noses. They decided they needed one for some game they were playing.

Blessing Day

Today we had Logan blessed. We had a great time visiting with family. Thanks everyone for your support. We missed all the family that couldn't make it.

Hiding

The other night I went into the kitchen to throw something away and found Aurora hiding under the table. She was eating apple sauce with a baby spoon. I told her a while ago not to use the baby spoons because she is a big girl. Anyhow, I thought is was funny that she would hide so I took a picture.

Sense of Style

Some days Aurora will let me help her pick out an outfit and other days she likes to do it herself. I thought she looked kinda cute. Sometimes I wonder what people think when we go out in public.

Halloween

For Halloween we ended up dressing Logan up as a Lion instead of a Monkey. Here are pictures of him in both costumes.

Aurora's Recovery

She is resting on the couch letting her eye recover. She has been a pretty good sport. After Aurora's last surgery she tried to slug the nurse when the nurse was trying to get her to wake up, it was pretty funny. Once she was finally awake all she would say was, "I want to go home." and " Take that out of my foot." They put her IV in her foot. Anyhow, in three weeks she goes down to get glasses for reading and things up close.

Brothers

Avery is very excited to have a brother. He can hardly wait for the day when he can teach Logan how to play video games.

Back to Normal

After having a busy couple of weeks things are finally getting back to normal. Aurora's eye surgery and recovery have gone really well. Her doctor said he couldn't of hoped for a better recovery. Aurora has been a great sport. Her next eye surgery is October 26th.
Logan is doing well and has brought us great joy. Avery looks forward to when he is old enough to play video games. Both Avery and Aurora like to hold and talk to him.

Mommy Aurora

I was busy feeding Logan when Aurora decided to join me and feed her baby. We had a nice time sitting together feeding our babies. Aurora has been a great helper. She decide it is her chore to take the diapers to the trash for me.
