They were both so excited that they got Harry Potter Lego for the Wiii.

Logan Working on the Computer

I just think it is so cute when he lays on his belly to read a book or work on the computer.

Ginger Bread Houses

The kids had a lot of fun decorating ginger bread houses, but I think they had more fun eating the candy.

Game Night

Tonight we were all trying to play Mario Kart. We gave Logan a controller to the 64 but it didn't fool him. He threw is on the ground and kept trying to get our controllers. Joseph and I decided to let the kids just play. Logan then thought he was really playing when we gave him one of our controllers. You can see him concentrating on the game.

Santa Pictures

As soon as Santa walked into the church gym Logan was asking, " Is it?" We have decided that when he says is it he is asking what is it. We kept telling him it was Santa. He was excited and kept trying to get closer. But has soon as I put him on Santas lap he cried.

Another One of Her Outfits

Today Aurora really wanted to wear her heart outfit to school. However, she decided to put a long sleeved shirt on underneath. I told her stripes don't really go with the hearts but she was convinced it matched because the purples were the same shades. I let here decide. Then when I picked her up she had her socks pulled up over her pants and her hood on. She looked really cute but silly. Whenever I want her to pose for a picture she always has to be doing something.

The End of a Chapter

As most everyone knows Joseph found a teaching job this year. We decided to keep the route for 10 weeks until he got his first check and so we could get a head a little. Sunday was finally the end of the paper route business for us. After 7 years and 4 months, I was excited to finally be able to get rid of it. I must say how grateful I was to have it these past years. It was a way I could provide for my family while Joseph focused his time on school. It was also a job that I could do while the kids were sleeping and while Joseph was home. I was still able to be a stay at home mom even though I was so tired at times. For those who don't know I used to get up at 2:30 or 3:00 am in the morning. I started delivering papers when Avery turned one. And now I'm done just after Logan turned one. I've always wanted to have children and didn't want to have the paper route and it's hours get in my way. I look back now and wonder how I ever did it. I remember how I delivered papers the same morning I was due to go to the hospital to get started with Aurora. I remember customers calling me while I was pushing her out wondering where their papers were. (Crazy I know) And then I went back to delivering papers when she was only a week old. I'd get up early to nurse and then leave. Then when I got back she'd be ready to eat again. I learned to sleep when the kids took naps. Some semesters were easier on me when Joseph was able to be home more so I could get in a little extra sleep and some were harder. I was grateful for the past 2 yrs or so when Joseph was able to do the route for the most part. I was especially grateful that when I had Logan, Joseph was doing the route. I really don't know how I ever did it when Aurora was a baby. But even though having the route brought trials it was really the best thing for our family. If I didn't have it and Joseph would have been working and going to school our kids wouldn't have been able to spend so much time with him. I'm now looking forward to being able to go on trips as we please and to learn how to sleep again.

We all dressed up for our ward Halloween picture but forgot to take a picture. The night we went trick or treating was really rainy so I just took Avery and Aurora.

Corn Maze and Pumpkin Patch

For girls scouts this week the whole family attended with Aurora. We got to go on a field trip to a corn maze and pumpkin patch. Aurora led us through the maze. She did an awesome job figuring out which way to go. Fun was had by all.

Girl Scout Ceremnoy

Friendship circle.

After a 4 week program to introduce the girls and their parents to girls scouts, we attended a ceremony. Aurora received a girl scout pin. She has now joined a Daisy Troop. She is enjoying her time and making lots of new friends.

Cute Logan

I let the kids play at the mall the other day.

Another Scouting Event

A couple of weekends ago we went down to South Town Mall. There has been a big semi truck traveling the United States this year in celebration of 100 years of scouting. We went to check out the fun. These are a couple of thing Avery tried. Aurora wasn't able to participate in these because she was wearing sandals. However, when she went to spin the wheel she won two water bottles and Avery lost. Aurora was kind and gave one water bottle to Avery.

Logan Turned One

Logan started off eating really neatly. Then he got a little messy but not to bad.

He didn't like the whoopie cushion Aurora got him. Every time someone did it he would cry.
He liked to throw his presents. he didn't really get the opening part so well.

Logan now weighs 23.8 lbs and is 31 and a half inches tall. He has learned how to climb onto lots of things and walks all over the place. He brings us much joy.

Logan Spills Cereal

Logan can now reach things on the table. He saw Aurora's cereal and went for it. Luckily the milk hadn't been poured yet.

Dress Up

Aurora likes to dress up in some silly stuff. Here is another one of her dress up outfits.

Scout Camp

A couple of weekends ago Joseph took his eleven year old scouts camping. Avery went with him. The next morning I took Aurora and Logan up. They had fun trying out the rope bridge.

Girl Scout Activity

Aurora had a fun time this week at girls scouts. I traced her body and she colored half of it showing what she looked liked and the other half is what she wants to look like. She colored lots of different colors because she wants to look like a rainbow.

Aurora is 5

Aurora is excited she is now 5. She loved all the presents and is excited to now be a girls scout. She went to her first girl scout activity the day before her birthday. She also loves the way money smells and she is excited that she now has more money than Avery. Our kids love saving their money and both have around 100 or more. I like to tell them that they are richer then us.
