Ice Skating Update

Aurora had a great time competing in Logan. She placed second, not bad for her first time competing in Pre-preliminary. She was super happy that she landed both her axles. A few weeks later she passed her Pre-juvenile moves test and she was super relieved and very excited she passed. She feels a lot more pressure when she tests. We still feel so blessed to have such an amazing coach working with our Aurora.

Logan's First Pinewood Derby

Joseph and his group of tiger scouts. Logan had fun making his car for this years Pinewood Derby. There are like 30 plus cub scouts in his pack and I think they all had fun racing their cars.

Lunch Date

Logan earned a free lunch to Blue Lemon because he met his reading goal so we went on a mom son date. Logan loves math and science. His dream day at school would be to have a lot of math and science and a little art. He has never really enjoyed reading although he is good at it. But he has recently been showing more interest in reading since he has started reading more chapter books. I hope his like of reading continues to grow.

Christmas Morning

The kids were all very happy with what they received this year and even more excited that they got a white Christmas. By noon they were already to enjoy the powder and went sledding up the road.

Christmas Lights

This year we decided to see the Christmas lights at Willard Bay. Our kids aren't nearly as impressed with Christmas lights as Joseph and I remember being when we were kids. We think it is because they haven't really see how Christmas have changed over the years. Oh well, I guess.  We also enjoyed our yearly tradition of  having Krispy  Kreme donuts.

Life Scout

Avery is now a life scout and is working on a couple last merit badges. He will then work on his Eagle Scout project. We are very proud of Avery. He has been a pretty amazing teenager so far.
