Four Wheeler Fun

We went up to a friends cabin for a night. While there we were able to drive her new four wheeler. Avery had a fun time learning to drive it. Avery drove it at least once with me and and with Joseph. And I must say that I think Joseph will be the one teaching our kids to drive.Aurora and Logan also got the help steer.

Yesterday we got together with Riley and Karen and their girls that I used to watch and still watch for a fun play day at the Splash Pad. I love that our kids are all still such great friends. We mom's also had a wonderful time visiting. It is nice to hang out with lady's that are genuine. 

Pops Concert

Every year we go up to Weber State for the Lindquist Annual Pops Concert and fireworks. We have a picnic dinner, we play cards games, enjoy the music, cannons, and the fireworks. It is a great way to spend an evening. 

2014 Air Show

We spent part of an afternoon at the Airshow. Joseph and I both wanted to watch the Thunderbird's. Before the Thunderbird show started the kids and I went and toured a carrier plane. Both Avery and Aurora asked Joseph and me when the Thunderbird's would start, this was while they were performing. Apparently neither kid was paying attention to the introductions that were being made before they started.

A Week in Oregon

The kids were able to spend last week in Oregon with Joseph's parents. While they were there they went roller skating, to a petting zoo, swimming, and spent time playing with their cousins and their Grandma's daycare kids. They had a ton of fun.
On the way up we broke down about 25 miles outside of Burley. So we had to call a tow truck to tow us to an auto parts store. It was a Sunday so all the auto shops were closed. Joseph determined that the alternator was what had gone bad, so he replaced it. Having never replaced an alternator before it took him about and hour and a half to get the broken one out and about 20 minutes to put the new one in. This delay made us miss a family reunion that we has wanted to attend but we eventually we made it to Joseph's parents. I am so glad that Joseph is so patient under stressful situations. 
Joseph and I then left for the week and went back up for the 4th of July. While there Joseph's brother Brady took us shooting. Aurora decided to tag along and shot the gun once.  

      While the kids were gone we painted our front room and did a little redecorating. There are still a few things left to do and I will post another pictures when we are done. In the evenings we would go out for dinner and drinks. The picture below is a Strawberry Mango Margarita which was super delicious.
