Staying warm before she competes. 

Happy she is done but really wants to do it again. She loves performing. 

You can see here that Aurora was the only one not ranked 4th or 5th by the judges. She really did her best.

Our morning started early for this competition. Aurora had to be at the Bountiful ice rink by 6:15 for her practice ice time. After she was done practicing we got her dressed and her hair and makeup done. She ended up competing against a level higher than her's because no one signed up for Basic 3. However, she held her own and was able to place 3rd and make her way to the podium once again. She was supper happy with her performance.  She did end a little early but knew to do an extra spin because her and her coach had practiced. There was another little girl that ended early and panicked and just skated off the ice. I was glad that Aurora kept her calm and just went with it. 

Girl Scout Family Night

We enjoyed canoeing, dinner, and awards with Aurora's Girl Scout troop. Aurora has really enjoyed her first Brownie year. She had an awesome leader, that did a ton of things with them.

4th of July

Logan was not impressed by the fireworks we bought. He just likes the aerial ones. He did like when Joseph set off a fire cracker. He said, "Oh my heck."  He also would have been more happy if we had let him light them all. Avery was a great help in lighting the fire works this year.And Aurora had fun playing with her friend.

Camp Kiesel

Aurora had another fun day at day camp. Don't you just love her style? She can rock just about anything because she is so confident.
