Logan was excited to turn 4, he talked about it for a few weeks. We love having Logan in our family; he makes us all laugh on a regular basis. He is a loving and kind boy. He tells me how much he loves me multiple times a day and is always giving me hugs. He loves to tease his dad when he gets home from work. He always says, "Come and get me" and then runs away. Aurora and Logan get along really well. He becomes Avery's best friend when Avery is playing a video game. Most of his gifts were Link related from the Zelda games and his cake was a Mario cake as you can see. This boy loves to play video games but he also loves playing outside and learning. He has started learning a few sight words and has started reading a few small books.
Aurora has been working on learning a few more skills. The second video is showing her working on the very first jump she is learning called the Waltz Jump. She is super excited and loves going to the rink. She can hardly wait for her next competition.
We walked past this home on our way to Back to School Night. As we passed the stairs Logan got excited and wanted to have his picture taken. I think he liked the fact that is was something he could climb. So on our way back to the car he posed for a picture. Aurora didn't want to be left out so she posed for one also.
This year her birthday fell on the first day of school. She was not so happy about this. But she was glad that she at least got to bring treats to share with her class. She doesn't care for frosting. She asked for plain chocolate chip cupcakes this year and play-doh ice-cream. She was so happy for her My Little Ponies that she got.
Avery has been working on the Family Merit Badge. For this he organized a family service project where we went up to Beaus Pond to pick up trash. It amazed us all with how much trash gets left behind or blown around. We picked up multiple bags of garbage.
Avery's first court of honor. He has already earned 3 merit badges and he currently working on a couple more. We are so proud of all his accomplishments.
