Aurora

I was trying to get Aurora to hold still so I could get a nice picture of her but she had another idea. Anyhow, this is a skirt I just finished for her. I also wanted to show everyone that she decided the other night to cut her own bangs. Luckily, she didn't do to bad of a job. They still look a little funny but I was able to fix them somewhat.

Pack Meeting

Avery was helping set a place setting. The meal was his Bobcat because he earned that award tonight.
Tonight was Avery's Pack Meeting. We had dinner in the park. After Avery was done eating he decided to go sit on this bench all by himself. Joseph went over and asked him what he was doing and he said that he was sitting there because it looked like a nice kids bench.

Sewing

Our kids left to spend the week with their grandparents. I decided with the extra time I would have, I'd trying sewing out again. I haven't attempted to sew since I was in High School 12 years ago. My sister in -law has been sewing quite a bit so that is wear I got the idea. Her little girl had on a really cute outfit when she was down visiting. Anyhow, here is the dress I made. The hardest part for me was the sleeves.

Baking

A few days ago I decided I wanted some homemade tortillas. Aurora saw that I was baking and wanted in on the action. She helped me pour and mix everything. I left the flour out on the counter while I was waiting for the dough to rest. When I came back 10 minutes later Aurora had taken some flour and a spoon and was playing happily with it. I thought she looked cute with it on her nose.

I'm Ginormous

I should really lose a few lbs. I mean, look at me!! I'm as big now as I was a couple weeks before Aurora was born. I measure about 4 feet around, and can't really fit in the benches at church. Joseph has been pushing me around on an airport luggage carrier.

Day Camp

Joseph and Avery had a great day at Day Camp.
