Ice Skating Update

Above is a picture of Aurora and her friend. They both just started working on a duet for the upcoming Winter Show. They are super excited to perform. They also both did amazing jobs at the last competition. Below is a picture of Aurora with her coach. We love Kelsey and all that she has done for Aurora, she is an amazing coach and person. Aurora was excited to place second at this competition. She also placed 2nd as the overall skater in her level for the year out of all the other skaters that have performed at all the various competitions in our inter-club( all the clubs in Utah and surrounding area). The way it works is that all the skaters get so many points based off of how well they did at each competition . She also passed her first  moves in the field pre-preliminary test.

Logan and Numbers

Logan is a natural when it comes to numbers. We had to give a brief explanation when it came to counting to 100. After that he could count and write to 100 with no help other than a reminder on which way a number should face, that was a couple years ago. Addition and subtraction have been the same way. He doesn't use fingers or touch point, he just doesn't it in his head. Talking about numbers is one of his favorite pass times and it's often a topic at dinner or in the car. I just hope he isn't to bored in Kindergarten next year and hope that he might be a help to his class.
