Swimming

We took the kids swimming today up at Weber State. They had a lot of fun playing in the water.

Avery's 7th Birthday

Avery had a great 7th birthday. He got to go to the movies with his dad to see Transformers and he got to go out to dinner with the family after his last baseball game. Avery recently joined with cub scouts as a tiger so we got him all that stuff and a pocket knife. Aurora picked him out some more caps for his cap gun and a transformer. We also decided to get him some walkie talkies. He and Aurora are having a blast playing with them.

Parade

Avery walked in the South Ogden Days Parade with his pack last night. It was a long hot walk.

Bathroom Floor

Joseph's brother Matt came down while I was in Manti and put in a new floor in our bathroom. He did a great job.

Silly Kids

The kids came in with their basketballs in their shirts and told us they were pregnant too.

Girls Camp

Two days after I got back from Manti I went to girls camp.Overall everything turned out okay. The rain wasn't much fun. All of our tents got really wet. Some of the girls had to go sleep in a leaders tent the second night because their tent was to soaked along with their sleeping bags. Needless to say I was glad to be home and in my bed. I don't think I have ever been so grateful for a roof over my head and a nice dry bed.

Last weekend my brother got married. The kids and I stayed in Manti for the weekend. The kids enjoyed playing with my other brother in the pool the next day.

Scout O Rama

We had a lot of fun a few weekends ago at Scout O Rama. The rowboat was out favorite. The kids also got to make rockets and shoot them off. We forgot our camera so my brother took these with his phone. Avery was really brave going across the rope bridge.

Sleeping

Aurora got mad a few nights ago when Joseph wouldn't let her get on our bed with shoes. We told her she could if she took them off but she wouldn't hear of it. So off she went mad. A few minutes later I found her asleep in the hall.

Another Lost Tooth

Avery lost another tooth yesterday. He was excited this morning when he found a dollar under his pillow. Aurora looks forward to when she loses a tooth because she wants the tooth fairy to bring her a dollar.

Scouts

Avery attended his first den meeting last night. He is a tiger scout. We decided that we would enroll him for a year at the Lutheran Church in a traditional unit. When he turns eight he will come to scouts at our ward. Joseph took the camera with them last night but forgot to take pictures. I'll be going with them to pack meeting at the end of the month so I'll get some pictures. Avery said he had a lot of fun earning his marbles belt loop last night.

Clown Face

Last night the kids had ice cream cones. Aurora came in and told she was clown.

Airshow

We spent Saturday afternoon at the airshow. The kids enjoyed getting inside the different jets.

Splash Pad/ Park

Aurora has been asking all winter to go to the Splash Pad and today we finally went. The kids had so much fun getting wet and playing at the park. I think we'll be going there often this summer to stay cool.
