Oregon Trip

My mother in law bought tickets for Disney on Ice so that my sister in law and I could take the girls. The girls loved the show.

The girls having fun with Grandma's Boise State wigs.

Sad to say goodbye. Aren't they cute?

It had been a while since we had been up so they didn't really remember each other but they warmed up to each other quickly and had fun playing.

The kids all slept for a while on the way home.

Scouts

Avery has been busy with scouts. Two weekends ago he helped with a service project at the Washington Heights Church. The church had a bunch of rocks that they needed to be moved. This is the church that sponsors the troop he belongs to.

Then this last weekend he went on a scout camp-out. Each patrol is in charge of their own food and making sure they have enough supplies. The grub master forgot to make sure that they had the cooking supplies needed to cook the meals that he brought. Luckily, some of the other patrols were able to lend Avery's patrol cookware. The boys plan everything. The leaders are there to just oversee and make sure everyone stays safe. Avery enjoyed fishing and learned more about first-aid.

Logan

Logan loves to learn and he likes tracing letters. He decided he wanted to trace his letters again before he finger painted. Logan can write all the letters but we trace them so that we can get better penmanship  He can now read I, a, we, will, and see. He can also write them with no help. He has a remarkable memory when it comes to learning. He also remembers videos games really well and likes to act out the game when he isn't able to play. He has me acting out scenes from Ocarina of Time throughout the day.

The girl I watch brought her Halloween costume to show us. She let Logan try it on. Logan really liked that is had a sword.

Here is Logan being silly. He put on B's boots. He also picked out his own outfit. His outfit reminds me of Aurora.

Another Lost Tooth

Ice Theater of New York

Aurora and I had a girls night out. The Wasatch Figure Skating club that Aurora is part of hosted an ice show at the Ogden rink. We enjoyed watching the showing and spending sometime together.

Aurora loved it when the guy did a back flip on the ice.
