My 35th Birthday

I had a good Birthday/Valentines Day weekend this year. Friday night Joseph and I saw Dead Pool, Saturday we went to Andy's Bar ( a Greek food place that we love), and Sunday we had cake and ice cream with the kids. It was especially nice having Monday off too. Oh, and Walking Dead started up again on the 14th so it was a great birthday weekend.

Winter Hike

We enjoyed a beautiful Sunday hike with some friends from our Post-Mormon group. The waterfall looked amazing all frozen over. We even saw a couple of ice climbers.I am excited to do this hike again in the spring when the water starts falling. Hiking in the snow is pretty darn fun especially with yaktrax.

Fun Play Pictures

These two were playing secret agent.

Our little magician.

Spa

Logan loves money and loves to save it. He wants to be a business owner when he is older. He opened a spa in our front room and gave back rubs, foot massages, and did our hair. It was a relaxing evening.

Christmas

We had a great evening looking at lights. This year we decided to go to the Christmas Village in Ogden. We ended the night with our favorite tradition of getting Krispy Kreme doughnuts.

Below are a few pictures from Christmas morning. We all had a wonderful Christmas and feel so blessed for all that we have. I love watching the kids.

The picture below is for my own documentation. This year we decided to put together bags of some essential items for those in need. We got the idea from the school counselor where Joseph works. The counselor put together bags over the summer because she saw many in need as she made the drive to Salt Lake each day to visit her husband who had been in a terrible work accident. She had given us one and so we thought it would be a nice way to pay it forward and hope that it will continue with those we gave one to.

Braces Off

The long awaited day finally happened on the December 16th, she was so excited and even more excited that she was given a treat bucket.

Thanksgiving 2015

We decided to stay home for Thanksgiving this year and just do our own thing. We wanted to spend the time relaxing and not traveling like we have the past four years. It was wonderful other than the fact that I got strep throat, which put me in bed for three days. On the bright side I got out of cooking some of the Thanksgiving meal. Joseph is a fantastic cook and makes everything taste amazing. He is super awesome when it comes to seasoning food and cooked the whole meal. The kids were ecstatic that it snowed over their Thanksgiving break and went sledding at the local park many times. I rested a ton and felt refreshed going into the work week after the holiday.
