Singing Aurora

Last night Aurora was supposed to be in bed. I was sitting in our office when I heard Aurora singing. I peeked my head out to find Aurora singing primary songs out of an older planner. She was using the end of a mouse cord as a mic.

Scouting

Joseph absolutely loves Scouts and is always looking forward to another scout training. He spent this last weekend at Wood Badge. As soon as we picked him up on Saturday we headed up Logan canyon to an awards ceremony for a camp training he attended last year. This is a picture of him and his den from Silver Wolf. He was happy to earn his paws after completing all of his goals. In a couple of weekends he'll be off to complete the rest of Wood Badge.

Aurora

I thought this was a cute picture. This is Aurora on her actual birthday.

Aurora is 4

We celebrated Aurora's birthday a couple of days early this year because we had a busy week. She didn't seem to mind getting her presents early. We got her a barbie car, a portable crib for her babies, and diapers. Avery bought her a transformer because she wanted one. She also received lots of cards and money. She decided to spend some of her money on a cash register.

Raptors

We went to the Ogden Raptors game a couple of weeks ago. We had free tickets and Joseph wanted Avery to see a real baseball game. Aurora was to afraid to take a picture with the mascot. We had a great time.

Busy Friday

Then that evening I went with Joseph and the kids to Avery's camp out. We forgot our camera so this is the only picture we have. Joseph brought the camera up the next morning. It was rainy so we left after breakfast. Aurora did not like that the crickets made so much noise when we were trying to sleep. We are looking forward to the future when we can go camping more often.
This last Friday was a busy day. I had Youth Conference and Avery had a family camp out with his cub scout pack. That afternoon the youth helped clean up an elderly ladies yard in our ward. They wanted to take a picture with me because they were impressed that I'd be helping in my condition. We had a good time and a great turn out.
