Ice Skating Update

Aurora passed her Juvenile Moves test and her Preliminary Free Skate test. We are so very proud of this girl and all of her hard work. She is becoming a stronger and stronger skater every year. We are so very blessed to have the coach we have. She does a tremendous job teaching Aurora not just skating but how to be a good person. And she does a fabulous job networking with past skaters to get Aurora dresses to wear. Both theses dresses were borrowed from a previous skater.

Below is Aurora's latest competition at the non-qual regional competition in Salt Lake. She skated great even though she was battling a stomach bug. She placed 3rd.

Aurora's 12th Birthday

Aurora turned 12 and she was super excited to get a phone. She is an amazing young lady and my favorite daughter. She still loves to snuggle. She is herself through and through and she doesn't care what others think. She believes everyone should just be themselves. We absolutely love her and are so grateful that we get to be her parents.

2017 Total Solar Eclipse

We skipped the first day of school and traveled to Idaho and stayed in a farmers field on the out skirts of Idaho Falls so we could experience the total solar eclipse. We left Sunday and got out of town as soon as totality was over. We were fortunate to have clear roads there and back. It was an amazing experience! Our last eclipse experience was near St. George in 2012, it was an annular eclipse. It was totally worth the high camping cost!

July Adventures

The kids swimming with their friends. We swam a lot this summer.

We had fun at the annual Lindquist Pops concert. Brie and her family were able to join us.

We took a quick trip to Twin Falls. We were able to see the Shoshone Falls, swim, and visit an interactive toy store.
