| Aurora has been into writing a lot more lately. She carries a notebook with her just about everywhere. I think she has picked this up from Avery because when he is bored and not able to play video games he will write in his journal or write stories. I think it is so sweet how she will write letters to others. Her spelling of things is also very cute. |

| We had a busy Saturday with back to back Christmas parties. First we went to our Condo party and saw Santa and visited with our neighbors. This year Aurora was a little shy around Santa but I was able to walk her up with little to no problem. Logan was the complete opposite this year and loved Santa. |

| This year we ate dinner and then watched the Primary act out the story of Mary and Joseph for our ward Christmas party. Aurora was an angel just like I was when I was a kid. Avery sang a couple of songs in a group of three. We were so pleased with all the kids hard work. It was a joy to watch all the kids. |

| We enjoy decorating the house for Christmas once December arrives, we don't like taking anything away from Thanksgiving. Luckily, for me everyone likes to help in the decorating, so I'm not stuck with it all. |

| Aurora was being silly the other day when she was crafting. She came to tell me she had made herself eyebrows. |

| We had a great Thanksgiving in St George with some of Anne's family. Joseph and I cooked Thanksgiving dinner at Thomas' house ( Anne's brother). We also got to meet little Penelope that is now 2 months old. She is such a cute little girl. Logan loved holding her and never wanted to let anyone else have a turn. He was so very gentle and sweet with her, a side that we don't often see. Avery and Aurora also liked holding her but tended to get a little bored after a few minutes.Aurora was good at holding her like a mother would. |

| For music class this week we helped the kids learn a little service while having fun. We all helped rake up leaves from a ward ladies backyard.Logan loved jumping in the bag of leaves to help make more room for more leaves. |

| While the older kids were at school Logan had a great time playing in our leaves. The next day the leaf guys came and picked them all up. However, within a few days the lawn is covered again. |
